My name is Jacob Updyke. I'm a storyboard artist, a visdev artist, and a 2D effects animator.

I'm a Junior studying a BFA in animation with a minor in storyboarding at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with an expected graduation in May of 2025. I have also graduated from the Animating for the Climate Crisis fellowship program at the School of Visuals Arts and the precollege program at the Ringling College of Art and Design.

I have always viewed animation as the pin-ultimate medium for storytelling as it allows creators to imagine an infinite number of narratives that defy convention. My goal in life is to help other creators realize their own ideas, and to one day in turn, have my own stories be told.
