My name is Jacob Updyke. I'm a storyboard artist, visdev artist, and a 2D effects animator. I'm a Junior studying a BFA in animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My concentration is in storytelling and concept development, I have a minor in storyboarding, and my expected graduation is in May of 2025. I am also a graduate from the Animating for the Climate Crisis fellowship program at the School of Visuals Arts and the summer Precollege Program at the Ringling College of Art and Design.

During my time at SCAD, I've worked on a number of short live action and animated films that have trained me for work in a collaborative environment. Most of my protfolio is centered around storyboarding and pre-visualization, but I also have experience as a compositor, layout artist, and producer.
